There’s a substantial and every growing number of comedians in the Buffalo/Rochester region that all want varying amounts of stage time to work on their acts.
I’m fortunate enough to have a lot of individuals that want to participate on my showcases, so I book them with the following priorities.
1. Pro Comics
2. Comics who attract or bring and audience
3. Comics who support the show, performers on it, and local comics in general
4. Everyone else
I have 2 goals in mind with each showcase: to provide a quality room for comics to showcase their talents and to provide a quality show (free of admission) for the audience to not only entertain, but help build a supportive fan base of the local comedy scene.
