Why play 20 Questions on Match.com when I can play 20 Q's in Rochester's Insider Magazine.  Take a read and check out my sweet puppet shadow abilities here

Have you ever entered a contest that has a disclaimer like "We reserve the right to change contest rules."  Well, The Comedy Club likes to use that disclaimer . . . so the 3 weeks of finals have been changed to semi-finals with the winner of each week moving on to a finals round now.  No worries, it's all good - so make sure to come catch me at the last round of semi-finals this Thursday, 7:00pm, at The Comedy Club in Rochester (specifically, 2235 Empire Blvd., Webster, NY).  If you plan on coming, let me know by joining the Last Comic Sitting Facebook event

Also, I created an actual Facebook account (instead of just a fan page), so feel free to add me by clicking the Facebook image in the right-hand column.

That's all for now... time to watch the last ever Late Night w/Conan O'Brien.  At least he's confirmed that Max and the band are going with him, sweetness.

The Comedy Club made some changes to the finals of Last Comic Sitting.  Finalists are now spread out over 3 Thursdays and are opening for the in-town act that week.

I'm on the 3rd and final week of the competition and they'll be announcing the $1,000 winner that night.  The show is Thursday, February 26th at 7:30pm and tickets are $7.  The headliner I'm opening for is Vanessa Hollingshead.  I'd suggest getting there by 7:00pm and if you'd like to get tickets in advance, you can do so by going to www.TheComedyClub.us.

Also, a huge shout-out to everyone at Elmira College that came out to the Tim Young show Friday that I opened at, it was a blast.  I added a few more college dates to the calendar as well.

Thanks for the support, friends.

Chet

I entered "The Last Comic Sitting" contest at The Comedy Club in Rochester . . . there are 4 weeks of opening rounds followed by the finals.  The winner gets $1,000 plus an opening gig for Steve Brewer along with a Limo ride to the show.  I tied for first place in week 2 so I'm headed to the finals!  The finals are Wednesday, February 11th at 7:30pm and I'd really like your support!  The Comedy Club is at 2235 Empire Blvd. in Webster, NY and is connected to Daisy Dukes . . . and it's free to attend!  If you're on Facebook, you can tell the interweb peoples that you're attending by attending this event.  I'd suggest getting their early, so 1. you get a good table and 2. I can buy you some drinks for being a kickass friend.

Besides kicking off the whole Rust Belt Comedy thing this past week (RustBeltComedy.com)... which by the way - was a blast!,  I also had the opportunity to hang out with former bandmate Adam Bystran.  We jammed out a little and figured we'd play some Beyonce and do some random rap and see what happens when we filmed it . . . below are the results (and the rap montage starts at just after 2:00).

That's it for now.  I'm off to drive 90 minutes out to Buffalo for The Doin' Time Comedy Showcase at Nietzsche's tonight and am opening for Tim Young this Friday at Elmira College before the finals of Last Comic Sitting next Wednesday . . . . hope to see you there!
